Winter weddings can be magical, and the wedding between Ashley & David was no exception. Their wedding was held at Westminster Weddings & Events in Mendon, New York and it was truly special. This wedding was unique in many ways, from the black wedding party to the white and green flowers, and even the couple’s furry babes served as ring bearers.

Westminster Weddings & Events is a wedding venue located in the heart of Mendon, New York just minutes away from the city of Rochester, NY. This venue has an elegant and rustic interior design, combined with high ceilings and stained glass windows, makes it the perfect backdrop for a winter wedding –  or a wedding anytime of year really!

Chose a classic black and white color scheme for their wedding. This classic look was stunning against the snowy squalls that happened throughout the day. Ashley, the bride, wore a beautiful off white number that had the most stunning little details. This was complimented by a simple curled hairstyle  with a hair clip done by Bridal Biz Beauty to complete the overall classic breathtaking look.  While the groom and his groomsmen looked sharp in black suits and white shirts. The bridesmaids wore long black dresses, which complemented the overall timeless vibe perfectly.

The flowers, done by Jenns Sticks and Stems also kept up with the classic black and white color scheme, with white blooms and green foliage, adding a touch of freshness to the winter wonderland setting. The centerpieces were made of white flowers and greenery, with candles adding a cozy warm  ambiance to the reception room.

The wedding ceremony took place in the attached church that was modernized. With large windows offering breathtaking displays of the curated stained glass. The altar was adorned with white and green flowers, and the candles created a romantic and intimate ambiance.

One of the most unique aspects of this wedding was the couple’s decision to have their dogs join them as ring bearers. The dogs looked adorable in their matching bowties and flower crowns, they truly added a special touch to the ceremony that everyone loved.

After the ceremony,

The guests moved to the reception room, which was equally stunning. The black and white decor continued with white tablecloths, black chairs, and white and green centerpieces. To conclude the night the couple had a private dance followed by a sparkler send off where it started to snow right as the sparklers were lit! It was absolutely magical.
