When Liz and Bill came to me to discuss booking a maternity session and they wanted to do it somewhere in the Finger Lakes, I was 1000% on board. It’s always so touching when a couple comes back to work with me, but when they become friends too? Even better! I just adore them. Fun fact: Bill and Liz were some of the OG’s who trusted me early on in my photography business – that’s when you know it’s real. So this blog is new, and I plan to post old work – I’ll link it *HERE* when I share their wedding day from a few years back! It was an absolutely stunning day at the Belhurst Castle.

Okay okay lets get back to their maternity session that we did in the Finger Lakes –

So, they gave me full creative direction, which is always a delight. I decided we needed a little bit of water and then an open, breezy field to finish it off. We started the session at the creek and chased that summer sunset, overlooking the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes valley’s. It was nothing but gorgeous hues and a sweet breeze that kept us going. What was even more stunning was Liz; she was absolutely glowing. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but if you’re on the fence about booking a maternity session, I say this is your sign – just do it! You don’t want to miss this opportunity to have this precious moment documented – especially in the Finger Lakes at sunset! Life is too short; lets celebrate it!
